If you do not want to travel far from Dalaman Airport to your holiday destination, I would suggest Sarigerme.

Sarigerme is approximately 20 minutes from Dalaman Airport and is virtually unspoilt.  It is a place to go if you want a quieter holiday. It has not lost its village feeling and has one of the most beautiful big beaches and has water sports,  popular for surfing as has brilliant waves.

Sarigerme also has a mini farm and family friendly picnic area as well as ample shower facilities for after your swim. There could be a small cost to get on to the beach in Summer, but its purely for its upkeep and well worth it.

I personally visited this beach regular to relax and take time out from my writing. It is worth visiting.  There are a lot of mosquitos at night, so make sure you have plenty of repellant with you. Scottish people will be well used to th e dreaded midge, so wont be bothered so much, but it is worth getting an odd mozzy bite to visit there.  Hosgeldiniz (pronounced hosh-gel-din-ees) means welcome

Another short trip from Dalaman Airport  is  Calis Beach, Fethiye, approx 45-60 minutes depending on traffic.  The Golden Moon

Hotel, it is a small family run hotel, and  is owned by Mete, he and his family welcome you and go out their way to make your stay enjoyable, and comfortable, it is set back 2 streets from the beach, very clean, and an excellent self service breakfast to set you up for the day.  Food and snacks are available  at set times. No loud music and family orientated.
